Digital Products & Educational Resources Terms

These Terms govern the purchase, access, download and use of digital products, educational resources and online content provided by Catherine Paterson.

By purchasing, downloading, accessing or using any digital product, recording, resource or online programme, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

01. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to digital products and educational resources, including but not limited to:

  • Guided meditation recordings

  • Breathwork recordings

  • Educational audio resources

  • Online classes and workshops

  • Digital downloads

  • Journals and workbooks

  • PDFs and written resources

  • Self-guided wellbeing programmes

  • Recorded webinars and presentations

  • Members-only educational content

One-to-one therapy sessions, workshops and live events may be governed by separate agreements where appropriate.

02. Delivery of Digital Products

Digital products may be delivered through:

  • Secure download links

  • Checkout confirmation pages

  • Email delivery

  • Online course or membership platforms

It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address and to store downloaded files safely.

We are not responsible for:

  • Incorrect email addresses

  • User-side technical difficulties

  • Loss of downloaded files due to device failure

  • Temporary outages affecting third-party platforms

If you experience difficulties accessing your purchase, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to help you access your purchase.

03. Licence & Intellectual Property

All recordings, written materials, workbooks, journals, audio resources, videos, exercises, downloads and educational content remain the intellectual property of Catherine Paterson unless otherwise stated.

When you purchase or access a resource, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own personal use.

You may:

  • Download resources for your own personal use.

  • Print workbooks for your own use.

  • Revisit recordings as often as your purchase allows.

  • Apply what you learn within your own personal life and wellbeing

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce or distribute any resource.

  • Share downloads or recordings with others.

  • Upload materials to websites, cloud storage or social media.

  • Sell, sublicense or commercially exploit any content.

  • Record, edit or create derivative versions of our resources.

  • Teach, present or distribute these materials as your own work.

  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices.

Unauthorised use may result in access being withdrawn and, where appropriate, legal action.

04. Personal Use

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all digital products are licensed for individual use only.

Purchasing a resource does not grant permission to:

  • Share access with family members, colleagues or organisations.

  • Use materials within commercial training.

  • Include resources within another programme or membership.

  • Redistribute materials in printed or digital form.

05. Digital Content & Your Right to Cancel

Under UK consumer law, digital content purchases may normally include a 14-day cancellation period.

However, by completing your purchase and requesting immediate access to digital content, you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel is lost once access or downloading begins.

Nothing within these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

06. Educational Nature of Resources

Our digital products are educational and designed to support wellbeing, self-awareness and personal development.

They do not constitute:

  • Medical advice

  • Psychological or psychiatric treatment

  • Crisis support

  • Legal or financial advice

Our resources are not intended to replace appropriate healthcare or professional support where required. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, you should seek appropriate emergency support immediately.

You remain responsible for your own wellbeing and decisions regarding the application of any information or practices provided.

07. Suitability & Personal Responsibility

Some resources may include guided relaxation, meditation or breathwork practices.

You are responsible for deciding whether participation is appropriate for your own circumstances.

If you have concerns about your physical or mental health, are pregnant, have a diagnosed medical condition or are unsure whether a practice is suitable for you, you should seek appropriate professional advice before participating.

If you experience discomfort or distress during a practice, you should stop immediately and seek appropriate support if required.

Digital resources must never be used while driving, operating machinery or undertaking any activity requiring your full attention.

08. Third-Party Platforms

Our services may rely upon trusted third-party providers including:

  • Acuity Scheduling

  • Zoom

  • Mailchimp

  • PayPal

We are not responsible for interruptions, technical failures or policy changes affecting third-party platforms beyond our reasonable control.

09. Limitation of Liability

We take reasonable care in creating and delivering our educational resources.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our digital products or services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under the laws of England and Wales.

10. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to digital products where:

  • These licence terms are materially breached.

  • Intellectual property rights are infringed.

  • Fraudulent payment activity or misuse is identified.
